I wondered to myself, how many times are we given opportunities to fail in the workplace. Often enough we are not given permission to fail at all. It is so counter-intuitive to expectations (what if we fail by letting a customer down, entering the wrong $ into someones salary ). I have seen managers completely loose the plot with a staff member who has "failed". I have done it myself to myself!
So, lets contemplate this week - how can we fail at something and learn from it in the workplace in a safe way?
